Donations & Payments

All donations are processed through PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment processors including Stripe and PayPal. Your card details are never stored on our servers. All transactions are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption — the same technology used by major banks and financial institutions.

Yes! The Jarren Duran Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. Donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We'll email you an official tax receipt immediately after your donation is processed. Please consult a tax advisor for questions specific to your situation.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover via Stripe. We also support PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and direct bank transfers. For large corporate donations (over $10,000), we can arrange wire transfers or checks — please contact us at [email protected].

Absolutely! Monthly giving is one of the most impactful ways to support our work because it lets us plan and sustain long-term programs in mental health counseling, shelter services, cancer support, and children's education. On the donation page, select "Monthly Recurring" before completing your gift. You can cancel or modify your recurring donation at any time by emailing us.

We are proud of our efficiency rating. Approximately 87 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs — counseling services, shelter support, cancer patient relief, and education funding. The remaining 13% covers essential operations including staff, technology, and fundraising. Our full financial reports are publicly available on our Transparency page and we are rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator.

Impact & Accountability

After donating, you'll receive quarterly impact reports by email with photos, stories, and measurable outcomes from our programs. You can also create a donor account on our website to track your lifetime giving history, view campaign updates in real time, and download your tax receipts.

We are based in the United States and serve communities across the country. Our programs focus on underserved urban and rural populations facing mental health challenges, homelessness, cancer diagnoses without adequate support, and children lacking access to quality education. We work closely with local community partners, healthcare providers, and school districts to maximize our reach and impact.

Volunteering

We welcome volunteers at all experience levels. You can apply through our Contact page. We offer community outreach roles (mental health awareness, street outreach for homeless individuals), event support, remote volunteer roles (design, social media, fundraising), and professional volunteer roles for licensed counselors, nurses, and educators. We'll match you with opportunities that fit your skills and schedule.

Not at all! We need people from all walks of life. While mental health counselors, social workers, nurses, and educators bring especially valuable expertise, we also need passionate individuals for event logistics, fundraising, tutoring, and general community outreach. The most important qualities are compassion, commitment, and reliability.

General Questions

We prioritize programs based on demonstrated community need, the potential for lasting impact, and alignment with our four core focus areas: mental health, homelessness, cancer patient support, and children's education. We partner with local organizations, healthcare providers, and schools to ensure our funding reaches the people who need it most and produces measurable outcomes.

Yes! We welcome corporate partnerships of all sizes. We offer payroll giving programs, cause marketing collaborations, employee volunteer days, event sponsorships, and custom impact reports for your CSR reporting. Email [email protected] to learn more about how we can work together.

We love community fundraisers! You can create a personal fundraising page on our website — for a birthday, awareness walk, memorial, or any occasion. We'll provide you with a fundraising kit including graphics, talking points, and a dedicated support contact. Every dollar you raise goes directly to our programs, and you'll receive updates on the impact your campaign made.
